Texas QBs McCoy, Snead face questions over who will start - NCAAF - Yahoo! Sports
Texas QBs McCoy, Snead face questions over who will start - NCAAF - Yahoo! Sports
Personally, I think that either will do a great job. I think that McCoy will do well as the preliminary but Snead will be more than adequate should the need arise. What happens after this season is anyone's guess... With Chiles and Brantley coming in next year, it will really be a competition.

Quake 3
As of today, I will no longer be competing for the -]Rx[- clan. I am not resigning, just no longer competing.

Another flood...
Last year we had a flood downstairs that ruined all the carpet, baseboards, etc. Anyway, in the end, it cost a lot of money above and beyond what the insurance company covered. Some of that was extras or upgrades, but still it is out of our pocket. Well, lo and behold, this year the a/c overflowed it's emergency pan and flooded the upstairs. Such a pain in the ass. Especially dealing with all the involved parties. But the biggest PITA is Frymire. O... M... G... suffice it to say that I am now trying a differenct company. We will see if they are a little more responsive to my needs.

OU Dismisses Bomar
Dallas Morning News News for Dallas, Texas Sports
This really opens up things in the Big 12 South. Texas really wanted Bomar a few years ago. I wonder where he will end up. Probably some D1-A school like SFA or Texas State. UTA is bringing back football, maybe Bomar will be their first "name" recruit to help revive that program.
