The Importance of Balance for Work and Home
Great article here on the balancing work and home. I can't tell you how much I harp on Brenda about this (Love you, babe!) Is it a question of commitment? I'm committed, but the way I look at it, my job/career could be over any day subject to the whims of the corporate environment. My family will always be there. I do have to provide for them, so I do not neglect my duties and I strive to be a model corporate citizen. I am just not going to put my career before them... ever. Having said that, I sure can tell you about long nights and weekends getting the job done! And I've missed a few ball games and events, but all in all, my family does come first.

I completely understand your situation. I am constantly struggling with managing my personal life and work. At this point in time, I'm much of a workaholic that needs to say "the work will be there tomorrow."
I appreciate the link, will look to return the favor in the near future. Will let you know :)
