Senseless death...

The death of Sean Taylor was both tragic and senseless. A young man in the prime of his life, looking to make some positive changes in his life and this is the result??? Tragic indeed. Senseless in so many ways, but the question that haunts me and that I have not seen addressed any where else, is this: why did he choose to remain in Miami? Here was a multi-millionaire, star football player making untold millions in salary and endorsements who chose to stay where he knew trouble surrounded him at all times. I mean, come on man... He played in D.C., which certainly has it's share of seedy characters, but the Redskins play in Maryland. Maryland is chock full of nice, safe suburbs. I guess that's true of Miami, but according to this article, he was surrounded by seedy characters from his seedy past. Not sure of the facts of his past, but I do know that he was no boy scout, by any stretch... I just don't get it... Tragic and senseless...
