O.M.G. Witty, yet insightful article on a subject that gets a lot of mileage in our household, although the wife is certainly not a willing participant... lol... I particularly like how the guy from Columbia University towards the end, basically "poo-poos" the whole notion of the article... I love irony! Oh, and puns...

College Athletic Scholarships... Boom or Bust???

The NY Times is not a great news source just because it's the newspaper for NYC... it's a great news source because it puts out great stories that are not just local in slant or flavor. We are certainly hopeful that our daughter gets a scholarship to play soccer in college, but we also understand that it's not just about that. Who knows, a couple of years down the road she may decide that acting is her calling... I prefer soccer, but if that's what it comes to, then so be it... :D
