Your help is appreciated...

We have several fund-raising events going on as our daughter prepares to travel with her soccer team, Dallas Sting Black 93, to San Diego, CA for a major college showcase tournament in July! First up is a pancake breakfast to be held on May 24 at Applebees in Dallas. I know this out of the way (or not anywhere close to you!), but here's how you can help: The tickets are $7, of which the team gets $5 IF you show up to eat. However, if you don't make it out to to the breakfast, the team gets to keep the full price of the ticket! Applebees only charges for the tickets it collects, so it's a win/win for everyone!

Also, the team is putting on a golf tournament in June, so if anyone wants to put together a foursome, or if your company (or you!) would like sponsor a hole or some golf carts or something (there's a plethora of opportunities) please let us know. I have attached a flyer with more information.

Finally, the team is having a garage sale/bake sale next Saturday, May 17. If you have any items of some value you would like to donate, please let me know so we can make arrangements to take them off your hands for a good cause! If you're interested in making a trip to a garage sale (!!!), it will be held in the Kroger parking lot located here.
