So... New year, 26 days in and it's time to start some shtuff...

So here we are, almost a WHOLE month into 2009... Everything you read these days is about the failing (or failed!) economy, or about the new president, or, for this week, at least - the Super Bowl...

On the home front, high school soccer is under way. It's definitely a task these coaches have putting together teams of girls who play with diverse club teams... but somehow, they do it. It helps that the head coach at our school is also a club coach with the very successful Dallas Texans. His assistants, however, do not have this experience, and it shows... My daughter's coach yells a lot (especially at the better players...) but, I won't question his authority in front of the daughter... of course, she might read this! Anyway, the team is undefeated, save for a loss to Coppell in a scrimmage and a tie to Denton Guyer so I won't complain too much. The district schedule starts tomorrow! Good Luck, Mustangs!

Also, on the home front, I picked up a very nice Pentax K200D Image by arukasa via Flickroff of Craig's List last week to replace my older Canon S3 IS that I thought I had lost... Turns out, I left it at Southlake's Dragon Stadium and someone was kind enough to turn it in! Anyway, it's my birthday and I have always been into photography, so now I hope to make it paying hobby... I also intend to do more with this blog; so watch for some changes in the near future and maybe some extensions to the brand that is CASSAS.NET... lol...
