Image via Wikipediadid anyone notice when the fox announcer, who was pretty much terrible, pointed out that the referee was the FIRST black referee to officiate a BcS game? even my daughter, was like WTH??? is that REALLY relevant in 2009? during the coin flip, i noticed he was black, but so what? it wasn't something i should notice... for crying out loud, we elected a black president... if he's qualified, what difference does color make? i just thought it was an unnecessary reference. will the BcS make it a point to have an Hispanic referee next year? or if there has been one, was it duly noted during the broadcast? once again, it makes no difference...
